Michel Guichard

Michel Guichard, as a Partner, was responsible for the Indirect Tax (VAT Customs) practice and then for the Tax Litigation practice dedicated to assisting clients in national and EU litigation.

Michel is in close contact with the Deloitte network around the world which supports him for his own clients or which he helps with tax issues in France.
He has been elected, for 2021 and 2022, President of the Hauts de Seine Bar Association which is the 3rd largest Bar Association in France and the largest business Bar Association. During his term of office, he was in permanent contact with the Nanterre Court of Justice and the Versailles Court of Appeal, including the Commercial Court and the Labour Court, as well as with the administrative courts (Cergy Administrative Court, Versailles Administrative Court of Appeal, National Court of Asylum).
He has represented his bar before national and professional bodies.

Before joining Taj (formerly Deloitte law firm) in 2002, he worked for 17 years in the Tax Legislation Department (VAT and International Relations sub-departments) of the French Ministry of the Economy, Finance and Budget, before turning his professional practice towards business consulting, in particular with the firm Archibald Andersen.
