Jean-Victor Prévost

Jean-Victor Prévost, Partner, has been in charge of the legal department of Deloitte Société d’Avocats for more than 15 years and Chairman of the Board of Deloitte Société d’Avocats from 2012 to 2016. He has also been acting as worldwide coordinator of Deloitte legal practices.

Jean-Victor advises financial or industrial investors for acquisitions, reorganizations or joint ventures. While doing so, he ensures coordination with Deloitte Finance and Deloitte Consulting professionals. He also liaises with Deloitte legal practices abroad for seamless multinational delivery and reporting. These activities have made him familiar with the major challenges currently facing general counsels around the world and have allowed him to advise them on organizational and recruiting matters.

His main area of practice is joint ventures where governance is a key issue. For the past twelve years, he has taught joint ventures at the University of Montpellier law school.

Since 2011, Jean-Victor has been a member of the Hauts de Seine Bar Association where he has recently been appointed head of the commission in charge of relations with foreign bars.

Before joining Deloitte Touche Juridique & Fiscal in 1992, Jean-Victor clerked for Miller & Chevalier (Washington DC, USA) and worked as an associate for Ernst & Young Tax and Legal in Paris.
