Deloitte’s view

The French minimum wage is automatically revalued every year on 1st January. Also, an additional automatic revaluation during the year may occur if the consumer price index increases by at least 2%, which has been the case as of May 13th 2026.

Employers are therefore strongly advised to monitor this information in anticipation of hiring foreign nationals to ensure continued compliance with minimum wage provisions.
